Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Lumina Bible - Gujarati (the “App”) for iOS. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
This app does not include community posting, sign-up, or sign-in features. You use the App as a guest without creating an account. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store.

- No user accounts, community feeds, or social sign-in in this version.

- An active internet connection is required.
- Do not use the App for emergencies — contact local emergency services if you need immediate help.
1) Acceptance of Terms
These Terms apply to Lumina Bible - Gujarati and any related services, features, content, and updates. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and policies.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” above when material changes are made. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
2) Who we are
Lumina Bible - Gujarati is operated by the developer at darkblueapps@gmail.com (“we”, “us”, “our”).
3) Eligibility
The App is rated 4+ on the Apple App Store and is intended for users of all ages. If you are under the age required in your jurisdiction to accept these Terms, you may use the App only with permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use of the App, including Bible AI interactions and any in-app purchases made through the device’s Apple ID. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information, including for users under 13.
4) License to use the App
Subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store rules, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial spiritual and educational use.
You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or redistribute the App or its content except as expressly permitted by law or by us in writing.
5) App features
Lumina Bible - Gujarati may include the following features (availability may vary by version, device, and server configuration):
- Home: daily verse, daily quotes, devotional cards, audio highlights, reading streak, prayer counter, quick access, and related dashboard content;
- Bible Reader: KJV Bible text in Gujarati, book/chapter navigation with Gujarati book names, search in English and Gujarati, bookmarks, highlights, notes, verse audio, verse explanations, Verse Creator (custom verse images), share as text or image, and reading preferences;
- Explore Audio: devotionals, guided prayer, Bedtime Bible, category browsing, full-screen audio player with verse/reflection/prayer tabs, background music, continue listening, and share verse image;
- Ask to AI / Bible AI: automated answers to Bible-related questions;
- Reels: short-form curated Bible and devotional video content;
- Meditation & prayer tools: breathing meditation and Christian prayer counter (jaap/rosary);
- Widgets: home-screen widgets for daily content (where supported);
- Settings: light/dark appearance, app language (English or Gujarati), Bible language, notification reminders and sounds, intro preference updates, cache management, premium subscription, feedback, website link, and app sharing;
- Notifications: push and local reminders for daily verses and reading habits;
- Ads: banner and app-open ads for free users (not shown to premium subscribers).
Features and content may change, be added, or be removed in updates. Bible text in this app is limited to the KJV Gujarati translation.
6) Bible AI disclaimer
Bible AI provides automated responses to user questions. Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate.
Not counseling: Bible AI is not a substitute for pastoral counseling, professional mental health care, medical advice, legal advice, or other professional services.
You are responsible for how you interpret and use AI responses. You may report inappropriate AI responses using in-app report tools where available.
7) Reels & third-party content
Reels and other media in the App may include curated video, audio, images, and text provided by us or licensed third parties. This content is for inspiration and education and may not be reproduced, re-uploaded, or commercially exploited without permission.
Third-party trademarks, logos, and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners. References to third-party services (such as Apple, Google, or content licensors) do not imply endorsement.
8) Subscriptions & purchases
The App offers optional premium access via Apple In-App Purchase (IAP), which may include Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, and Lifetime options.
8.1 Billing and renewal
- Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
8.2 Lifetime
“Lifetime” is a non-consumable purchase intended to unlock premium features for the life of the App/service, subject to these Terms and platform limitations.
8.3 Premium benefits
Premium may include ad-free experience, faster AI responses, and extended AI usage limits, as described at the time of purchase.
8.4 Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. We cannot issue refunds directly for Apple IAP purchases.
8.5 Restore purchases
You can restore previous IAP purchases using the in-app “Restore purchases” option, subject to Apple and server availability.
9) Intellectual property
The App (including its design, code, logos, curated content, and non-user materials) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws.
Bible text, audio, images, and other licensed materials are provided for personal use within the App. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content except as permitted by law, by applicable Bible license terms, or by us in writing.
Content you create locally (for example, Verse Creator exports or notes) remains yours, but sharing it outside the App is your responsibility.
10) Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law;
- Interfere with security features, rate limits, or service operations;
- Use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute App content or APIs;
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the App or our servers;
- Use Bible AI or support channels to transmit unlawful, harassing, hateful, or abusive content;
- Circumvent premium, ad, or access controls;
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
11) Internet requirement
The App requires an active internet connection to load Bible content, dashboard data, audio, Reels, Bible AI, subscription verification, and ads. Cached media may remain on your device for faster playback, but core features require connectivity.
12) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we believe you violated these Terms or if termination is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. To request deletion of server-side data associated with your device, email darkblueapps@gmail.com.
13) Disclaimers
The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that Bible text, audio, AI responses, or other content will be accurate or suitable for your needs. Spiritual and devotional content is provided for general encouragement and study; it is not a substitute for qualified pastoral or professional guidance.
14) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
15) Governing law (India)
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
